Base frame
The two locking, 8" side wheels located near the center of gravity of the user, with the two casters to the front and back, provide excellent maneuverability and stability for the base frame. Foot operated brakes on each of the two side wheels aid with transfers and safety. The frame has clearance for a mechanical lift to aid with supine transfers if desired. The unique base frame design allows for full abduction even when the user’s feet are close to the floor.
Body support
The body support is a large, padded area, supporting the user’s pelvis and trunk, and is the base for several important straps and lateral supports, with their hips on the body support pad near the level of the “HIP” indicator.

Caregiver handle
The caregiver handle allows easy maneuvering, even while the user is in the product. It can be quickly adjusted up or down to be positioned at a convenient height, or out of the way below the the multi-position tray. The position of the handle can be adjusted using the knob near its attachment point. In prone standing when the tray is in use, the handle can be adjusted down out of the way.
Height adjustment
Height adjustment also helps makes transfers easier. When lifting a small child into the supine stander it may be easier to have the body support adjusted higher. The column allows 6" of height adjustment of the product, assisted with a locking gas spring. Varying sizes of users can be positioned at an appropriate standing height – either with their feet close to the floor to be at the same level as their peers, or higher to reach a table for activities.

Independent hip abduction
All Standers come with 0-30° of independent abduction for each lower extremity. Adjust abduction by using the knob behind the hip. Hip abduction while standing and bearing weight is critical for hip health.
Tilt adjustment
The padded body support can tilt 90° from horizontal to fully vertical. Adjust the Stander to the ideal angle for each user. Adjust the angle by squeezing the double safety trigger on the caregiver handle, which releases the locking gas spring. The continuous adjustment locks in any position when the trigger is released.

Adjustable sandals
Ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion adjustment in a total of 30° degrees is allowed by the knob toward the outside of the sandal. Sandals provide secure foot support with a heel cup (adjustable in length) and two straps over the foot, each of which closes with a strong, magnetic buckle. The sandals adjust forward and back and rotate using the knob underneath. When transitioning from prone to supine or vice versa, the sandal rotates 180°.
Room for growth
With options to adjust overall height plus individual components, this stander accommodates growth and a wide range of sizes.
