Child-Friendly Design
With independence comes confidence. Every inch of the Zone wheelchair is designed to provide children with the best possible access to the wheels for efficient propulsion. Features like the recessed backrest, flip-up and angle-adjustable footrest, and hub lock located on the seat rail allow kids to independently access the wheels, transfer in and out of the wheelchair, and engage the wheel locks without interference during propulsion.
Growth Capabilities
One thing we know for sure is that kids grow! That’s why the Zone pediatric wheelchair includes 3" of built-in growth depth in the frame. An additional 2" of growth depth is incorporated into the sling upholstery. To increase the frame width, simply replace a few parts instead of the entire wheelchair frame.
Ultra-Lightweight Aerospace Aluminum
When it comes to pediatric mobility, every pound matters. That’s why we use 7000 series aerospace aluminum to craft the feather-light frame of the Zone. By combining this material with our ShapeLoc heat-treatment process and oval tubing, we increase strength, allow for thinner tube walls, and reduce overall weight, creating a wheelchair that’s lighter, just as strong, and more cost-effective than titanium.

We want the Zone wheelchair to reflect your child’s unique personality. In addition to its sleek frame, the Zone also offers bright options, including Zebra and Glow in the Dark frame colors, colorful wheel forks and axle plates, Spinergy wheels, and vibrant spoke guards.
