Wave Bath Chair
Hygiene and health go together. When we make bathing easier, our clients are healthier. The Wave system has been thoroughly re-imagined to improve bathing and showering – for the client and for the caregiver. Responding to requests from therapists and caregivers, we widened these new bath chairs to accommodate larger clients. And to protect skin integrity we added generous padding under soft knit fabric. As well as mounting the bath chair on a tub stand or rolling shower stand we’ve added an ingenious new tub transfer base to completely change the way you transfer and bathe large clients. There’s nothing like it.

A Complete Bathing System with Integrated Transfer Solution
The system begins with the chair itself, available in small, medium, and large sizes. If you need to raise the chair in the bathtub (to protect your back), get the bathtub base. If you need it at shower height, choose the shower base. To transfer a large or heavy user for showering over the bathtub, use the rotating transfer base — a true back-saver — with its clever sliding and swiveling action.
Wider and More Comfortable Than Ever
The large size measures 17½" wide and fits adults up to 6'2" tall and 250 lbs. The medium size is 15" wide, and the small size is also 15" wide. Along with a wider chair, our designers added extra padding to make it even more comfortable and gentle on sensitive skin.
Easy to Adjust
The Wave truly requires no tools — not only for the initial assembly but also for all adjustments, many of which can be made while in use. Adjust the backrest angle with one hand, allowing the caregiver to keep the other hand on the client for added safety and peace of mind.
Positions Like No Other Bath Chair
The backrest adjusts from flat to 75° in 6 increments. The seat adjusts from flat to 75° in 6 increments. The calf rest adjusts independently from the seat in 15° increments, allowing it to lie flat, raise to 90°, or be set at any intermediate angle.

Conversion kits are the smart solution for growing children. For a fraction of the cost, you can convert a small bath chair into a medium one. We’ll send you a larger fabric cover, new seat and backrest frames, and a chest strap — with instructions on how to remove the old parts and install the new ones on your existing base.
