Soft Foam Base with Variable Firmness
The dual-layer foam base of the Zip pediatric wheelchair cushion combines structural support and comfort. Typically, a child using an 8" wide cushion may require slightly softer foam than a child using a 14" wide cushion. For this reason, the firmness of the Zip’s foam base increases with the cushion width.

In pediatric mobility, every pound matters. Due to their lower body weight, children’s independence is significantly impacted by every extra pound. That’s why JAY engineers designed the Zip to weigh as little as 1.2 pounds (0.54 kg)!
Innovative Dual-Cover System with Extra Outer Cover
The Zip’s inner cover is waterproof and easy to wipe and clean, while its Aqua-guard zipper and anti-wicking thread protect the foam base from fluids. The stretchable, machine-washable outer cover uses Ionic+™ silver-impregnated, naturally antimicrobial fiber. Since kids love making messes, we include an extra outer cover with every Zip cushion!
Colorful Side Cover Bands
Through the JAY Your Way customization program, the Zip cushion can be ordered with colored outer side bands to complement a child’s wheelchair at no additional cost. Choose from blue, red, toxic green, purple, and pink!
