Safe and Comfortable
Research shows that safety and comfort are essential for children with special needs to use the toilet properly. That’s why we have paid close attention to designing components that provide children with a sense of security, protection, and support. The tilt-in-space base option offers maximum support and comfort. Its gas-assisted cylinder tilts 5˚ forward to ease transfers and 25˚ backward for showering and hair washing.
Easy to Clean
Every opportunity was taken in the design of the HTS to minimize cleaning and make the caregiver’s job easier. For example, the unique rear-opening seat pad design allows easy access for cleaning and hygiene after toileting or bathing.
Grows with the Child (or Multiple Children)
The HTS adapts to a wide range of sizes, body types, and special needs, allowing for growth over time or shared use by multiple children. Adjust the height — one frame accommodates small and medium seats to allow for the child’s growth. The height adjusts from 15" to 21½". A separate frame is available for the large seat.
Side Supports Fold Down Easily for Transfers
Independently adjustable side supports secure users with limited trunk control. The side supports are available in two sizes: Small – 5" x 4", Large – 6½" x 5".
